About Holly Brown

Holly Brown is a Frome artist. She is a professional children's picture book illustrator and has published over thirty books worldwide. She graduated from Bristol UWE Illustration BA with first class honours and has since worked full-time as an illustrator. After the birth of her first child, Ossian, she bought her first easel, a set of Michael Harding oils and started plein air oil painting. She now paints from her garden studio using oils and natural pigments, focussing her artwork on nature's findings and still life, alongside illustrating books.
